USDA CARLOT VEAL CARCASS REPORT - Northeast and North Central Basis
Compared to last week: The special fed veal carcass market
was steady to higher on comparable sales of veal calves. Demand
was light to moderate on light to moderate offerings.
Harvest numbers were 7 percent lower compared to last week's
total. Dressed weights were down 8.6 pounds.
Represents calves harvested Sunday through Saturday of last week.
VEAL CARCASS, SPECIAL FED, HOT BASIS-PAID TO PRODUCER - FOB BASIS
Includes previously committed contract and open market calves.
